Jujutsu Kaisen Chapter 257, Yuji and Sukuna Connection Revealed!
The series-long theory surrounding Yuji and Sukuna has officially been confirmed. The two are, in fact related, but in a complicated, yet twisted way.
We finally get some context on the origins of Yuji Itadori.
The chapter opens with Uraume asking Sukuna, “Who is Itadori Yuji?”
He says that Yuji is Kenjaku’s creation. Due to his affairs with his reincarnated twin, Jin Itadori (as Kaori Itadori), Yuji came to be. Sukuna was born a twin and while in the womb consumed the other. However, the soul wandered a bit before it reached Kenjaku.
This was crucial reveal that opens up so many angles regarding Sukuna’s existence.
Now knowing the implications of their connection, Uraume wonders if Yuji possess latent potential similar to Sukuna.

The chapter continues with both Yuji and Sukuna duking it out with the former landing a consecutive six Black Flashes on the King of Curses.

Blood Manipulation and “Shrine,” granted from being the reincarnated body of Ryomen Sukuna.
Yuji’s version of Sukuna’s signature ability appears to come in the form of scissors followed by dotted lines. This is just so fitting for a character like Yuji.
I’m wondering if the lines are meant to illustrate a level of refinement in the technique. This also opens the chance if it means it’s “better” in terms of its application. Obviously, Sukuna’s expertise in “Shrine” will leagues ahead of Yuji’s, but I wonder if that is the case here.
